School Based Youth Services
School Based Youth Services is a program funded jointly by the State of New Jersey, the Hunterdon County Department of Human Services and Hunterdon Behavioral Health. School Based Youth Services places a counselor in each host school in order to provide students easy access to a range of confidential services that includes:

· Supportive Counseling |

· Crisis Intervention |
|
· Individual and Family Assessment |
|
· Substance Abuse Identification |
|
· Vocational Counseling |
|
· Health Referrals |
|
· Information Services |
|
· Recreation Programs |
|
· Learning Support. |
To Access School Based Services, a student may be referred by:

· Teachers |
|
· Parents |
|
· Friends |
|
· Outside agencies |
|
· Child Study Team |
|
· Him/herself. |
